During the fourth quarter of 2021, the top five food and drink apps in Ecuador on the Android platform exhibited distinct trends in weekly downloads and active users. The data comes from Sensor Tower, offering insights into app performance.

PedidosYa - Delivery Online demonstrated consistent growth in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads peaked at approximately 22K in mid-November before stabilizing around 21K towards the end of the quarter. Active users increased steadily from about 176K at the beginning of October to roughly 209K by the end of December.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery saw fluctuations in weekly downloads, beginning the quarter with 7.7K downloads and reaching a high of around 9.6K in early November. The trend then saw a decline, ending the quarter at approximately 7.6K downloads. Active users fluctuated slightly but remained around 140K to 150K, with a dip to 130K in the final weeks of December.

KFC APP - Ec, Co, Cl, Ar y Ve experienced a varied download trend, starting with 8.3K in late September and dropping to 4.8K in early November. Downloads then increased, peaking at 6.8K in the last week of December. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 86K to 90K throughout the quarter.

McDonald's Offers and Delivery showed a stable trend in downloads, starting at 4.7K and experiencing minor fluctuations before ending the quarter at around 5.2K. Active users ranged from 26K to 32K, with a notable peak in mid-December at approximately 31K.

Rappi: Food Delivery, Grocery saw a decline in downloads from 5.7K in late September to about 3.4K by the end of December. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 110K and ending the quarter slightly higher at around 114K.
